Shrimp,450 grams peeled Chinese mushrooms,10 soaked in warm water for 20 minutes Oil,3 tablespoons Celery,2 stalks sliced Bamboo shoots,100 grams sliced Bean Sprouts,200 grams washed Water Chestnuts,200 grams drained and sliced Chicken Stock,1/2 cup Dry sherry,1 tablespoon Soya sauce,1 tablespoon Method Drain mushrooms squeeze dry and discard stalks,Slice caps into strips. Heat oil in a wok.Add celery bamboo shoots mushrooms bean sprouts and water chestnuts. Stir fry about 2 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp.Pour in stock and Sherry. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil.Reduce heat. Stir in Soya sauce and shrimps.Cover and cook for 3 minutes.Remove from heat and serve immediately. Return to main list of recipies |
